Objective

The objective was to create a points calculator for users to calculate the amount they would accumulate for the amount of groceries purchased. Some factors we took into consideration were to identify the primary goal of the user and to understand the user’s perspective on grocery shopping and what factors they consider while making purchases  (e.g., accumulating points for discounts, rewards). During the ideation phase a few key features we had in mind were multiple inputs for the amounts spent, point calculation algorithm, and displaying accumulated points.
